Grocery Store Refrigeration Installation Foreman
Pay Range: $40 - $46/hr DOE (up to $50 for exceptional candidates) + Full Benefits + Per Diem + Incentives
Location: Atlanta, GA (Accepting applicants from Georgia, Carolinas, East Tennessee, Florida)

How you’ll spend your time as a Grocery Store Refrigeration Installation Foreman:
- Installing hangers, piping, insulation, and saddles for commercial rack refrigeration systems and components (e.g., evaporator coils, compressors, condensers) and equipment (e.g., walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases).
- Receiving, setting, and trimming refrigerated case fixtures and walk-in coolers/freezers.
- Installing case fixture and walk-in cooler/freezer condensate drain lines.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and EMS/electrical plans to ensure proper installation and system functionality.
- Installing and wiring electrical and Energy Management Systems (EMS) per local and national codes.
- Observing, testing, and troubleshooting newly installed systems to ensure proper function and efficiency.
- Ensuring safety and cleanliness, including adhering to EPA refrigerant handling regulations.
- Using and maintaining tools, gauges, diagnostic, and testing equipment.
- Lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and traveling as required for projects.
- Participating in construction meetings and communicating with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Accurately tracking time, materials, and job-related equipment.
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Grocery Store Refrigeration Installation Foreman:
- 5+ years of foreman experience in grocery store or commercial refrigeration installation.
- EPA 608 Certification (Universal or Type II) for handling refrigerants.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
- Strong experience in piping, brazing, soldering, and pipe fitting.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials and work in confined spaces and varied weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be construction-focused (not HVAC service) and familiar with parallel racks, CO2, and glycol systems.
- Prior experience in supermarkets, grocery stores, or industrial cold storage/food processing preferred.
